The Overman Project Week 3 – Weak Links

This week exposed weak links.

On the wall and under the kettlebell, one small break in tension shows immediately.

The Wall

Problem: V5 Overhang
Attempts: 6
Result: Not Sent
Crux: Dynamic pull on sloper to flat pinch with left hand.
Observation:
The pinch won't hold. Left leg swings back after the leap, pulling my weight from the wall. Need to stay underneath.

The Beast

Sessions: 2
Press: 32kg, 6x3, 6x3
Pull-up: +24kg, 6x3, 6x3
Pistol Squat: +24kg, 5x3 → 6x3
Observation:
First press session felt off—core not tight, reps sloppy. Numbers were fine, but the body didn't feel connected. Mentally, a missed session.

Squat is slowly stabilizing: each set a crawl forward. Grind remains, but confidence grows.

The Reflection

The body works as one unit.
You press with the whole body.
You pull with the whole body.
You squat with the whole body.

A single weak link exposes that.

Next week: Stay under the hold. Keep tension in the body.

Practice. Proof. Nothing else.
