The Overman Project Week 1 – Finding Limits

I picked up the 32kg kettlebell for the first time in years. It feels heavier than it should. Not in my hand. In my head.

The 48kg Beast feels miles away.

This is the first attempt to measure the gap.

The Wall

Problem: V4 Slab
Attempts: 7
Result: Not Sent
Crux: Dynamic step-up to sloping hold. Then right leg up.
Observation:
I can't stick the right leg. My hips drift off the wall as I commit. The moment they go, the fingers lose leverage. I could pinch harder, but that would just hide poor hip positioning.

The Beast

Sessions: 2
Press: 32kg, 5x3, 5x3
Pull-up: +24kg, 5x3, 5x3
Pistol Squat: +24kg, 3x3 → 4x3
Observation:
Old strength came back fast in the press. The pistol squat was another story. Didn't trust my knee stability–hesitated at the bottom. Legs tired fast. The last rep was a grind.

The Reflection

The press gave a rush.
The squat brought something else.
Dread.
Not of the weight, but of the grind.
Limits are clear.

Next week: Fix the hips. Own the squat.

Practice. Proof. Nothing else.
